Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk will return to the lineup on Friday against the host St. Louis Blues.
The 26-year-old forward has not played in a game since Oct. 13 due to a right thumb injury that required surgery.
Tkachuk will miss his 20th consecutive game on Wednesday night when the Senators visit the Vegas Golden Knights.
He had three assists in three games before sustaining the injury on a cross-check by Nashville Predators defenseman Roman Josi.
Tkachuk has 407 points (191 goals, 216 assists) and 754 penalty minutes in 515 career games since Ottawa drafted him No. 4 overall in 2018.
