Chad Ramey recorded his first hole-in-one on the PGA Tour during the final round of the Players Championship on Sunday in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.
Ramey, 33, aced his shot from 169 yards out on the par-3 13th hole at TPC Sawgrass. His approach sailed over the bunker and landed on the center of the green, with the ball gaining steam heading down the slope before rolling into the cup.
Per PGA Tour Communications, Ramey’s ace was the 45th in the history of the Players Championship and 41st at TPC Sawgrass. The last hole-in-one at the tournament came last year by Keegan Bradley, also during the final round at the 13th hole.
