White Sox-Orioles start time moved up due to inclement weather

By MLB Premium News May 30, 2025 | 8:43 PM

The start time for Friday’s game between the Chicago White Sox and host Baltimore Orioles was moved up to 4:30 p.m. ET due to expected inclement weather in the area, MLB announced.
The game originally was scheduled to start at 7:05 p.m. ET.
Baltimore will send Zach Eflin (3-2, 5.40 ERA) to the mound against Chicago’s Sean Burke (3-5, 4.33) in a battle of right-handers.
The White Sox are coming off Wednesday’s 9-4 victory against the New York Mets that snapped the team’s six-game losing streak in road games.
The Orioles lost the final two contests of a three-game series at home against the St. Louis Cardinals prior to Thursday’s day off.
